It's traditional to go and see the cherry blossom - this is Shinjuku-goen.oon in the park.

Most people take pictures of the blossom. I took pictures of people taking pictures :-)

The nearby towers of the Tokyo government, in Nishi-Shinjuku.

Conveniently, they let you up to the top to have a look around.

It's quite a good view too, except that all you can see is sprawl.

This crossroads is in Ginza...

...just outside the Sony showroom.

Ginza is one of the few areas with straight streets - it was destroyed in a fire or earthquake or something.

Nearby is the Imperial Palace, surrounded by moats.
